How to Measure Shoe Size

To accurately measure a child's shoe size, have them stand on a piece of paper with the heel against the wall. Measure the length from the heel to the longest toe, ensuring to measure both feet as they may differ.

1) Prepare: Place the paper on a flat surface.

2) Position: Have your child stand on the paper with the heel against the wall, with their weight evenly distributed and their feet slightly apart.

3) Trace: Trace around their foot with the pen or pencil, ensuring the toes are not curled.

4) Measure Length: Use the ruler or tape measure to measure the distance from the heel to the longest toe on each tracing.

5) Measure Both Feet: Measure both feet, as they may be different lengths.

6) Record: Record the measurements in inches or centimeters, and use a shoe size chart to find the corresponding size.
